Carlos Gannon through eSwipe had setup our First Data/Flash Pay account early last year and was an efficient sales person. We were online and the account was setup quickly and the service had been great.
In October of 2019 we converted our sole proprietorship into a corporation and tried at length to have the service transferred in. The customer service queue was full of confusion and uncertainty in their own processes.
Ultimately Carlos became involved again and duplicated our lease creating an unnecessary second merchant account and a second point of sale terminal. Once we realized that we were now being double-charged we immediately re-engaged FirstData but no-one was interested and no-one cared to sort through the problem. Carlos had disappeared and our repeated attempts to make contact with the sales team were unsuccessful. Some weeks we leave up to as many as 3 messages in their voicemail box without any call-back. Emails to Carlos remain unanswered. First Data has assumed the position of "not my fault, not my problem".
This is a budget company with seemingly few resources to service their administrative processes clearly and effectively.

The end result is that we have a $2,053.11 duplicate lease that we cannot get out of.
