Disappointing. As a Marriott plat preferred, I was placed in a room with significant airport noise and a room with a direct view into a nearby hallway, so opening my windows would immediately show my room to strangers. The room came with a shampoo and two body washes and no conditioner. Obtaining conditioner required two calls to Service Express and 20 minutes of wait time. Had I been trying to make a flight, this would've been catastrophic.

The club lounge breakfast was good, with hot eggs and sausage as well as standard cold items. Hours were a mystery though - at check-in I was told breakfast would end at 9, but it was still going strong at 10 and had I known I could've grabbed another hour of sleep.

Overall, while the room was acceptable and the food good, I found the service at this Westin disappointing by brand standards. Nothing about my stay justified the price difference between the Westin and the cheaper Aloft property nearby (also in the Marriott family). In the future, I will probably save my money and stay elsewhere.
