Thank you for helping us arrange the best sweet sixteen gift my daughter could have imagined. Our family vacation in Japan was an awesome experience! You steered me right in telling me to experience Tokyo and Kyoto instead of city sampling all over Japan. We were blessed to have come at the perfect time when all the cherry trees were blooming and beautifying an already stunning landscape. The hotels all had excellent customer service, were luxurious and their locations well thought out. The recommended outings were superb. We got to travel like a local in Tokyo with our manaca cards and visited the must see Ghibli Museum then shopped until we dropped. The Shin Jin Temple and Tokyo Skytree were within walking distance of the Asakusa View Hotel! The guides were amazing and super nice to us. In Kyoto our guide recommended to hire a car and I'm so glad we did! I got to see stunning world heritage sites, pause for a great vegan lunch and then while we dropped my girls at the international Manga museum (5 min walk from the Monterrey hotel) we continued exploring Kyoto's sights. We ate world class vegan fare while in Kyoto thanks to our guides' planning and research. The final hotel views of Grand Pacific Daiba were breath taking and a nice way to say goodbye to this amazing country. There were two giant malls within walking distance! The Miraikan National Museum of science was awe inspiring for all of us and a must see. I understand why you recommended using the mass transportation system, we had mixed results with the taxis we took. We are very grateful for your arrangement of the Maiko experience at the Asakusa location, it was a hoot for my daughter and I ! To summarize; we loved every minute of our vacation! I will definitively use Global Basecamps for our next family trip! You got 4 lifetime fans here;)
