On Friday last, my wife and I treated friends to an evening meal at Shed 5.
The restaurant was about two thirds full. Initially the waitress was attentive, taking the orders, however from then on, things went down hill.
Although we received our (pre made) entree in a reasonable time, the waitress then went into hiding & we did not receive our mains for another 50 mins.
The food, when eventually delivered was average, the price was not. The whole experience not helped by the bill including a pre recorded payment for a tip, which we declined to accept.
Very disappointing. Given the range of very good eating places in Wellington, we will not be back and will advise our friends the same.
