I had my biannual service call today and the young man who came to do the service was wonderful
What I am not at all impressed with are the games that A#1 Air plays with long time customers.
Firstly they want to replace a component that is not broken or malfunctioning and their quote - almost $300 and I have a service contract with them that is supposed to give me a discount. I checked the part online and Lennox have it for around $30... others online around $22.
A#1 Air refuse to honor my Lennox Extended Warranty (the Lennox A/C unit is 6 years old and it covers repair for 10 years on parts and labor.) I went through this run around with them back in November when I needed to have my coil replaced. I called then and left message after message (8 total) and no-one ever called me back. I ended up having to ask another AC company to do the repair work and they got paid fully by the warranty company.
I am sick and tired of getting ripped off by A#1 Air. They can consider me an EX-customer.
