This review regards the hotel accomodation and not the resort accomodation.
On arrival the room we had specifically spoken with the reservations clerk about and booked was unavailable. This constitutes a breach of agreement, as we would not have stayed if we had known. Whilst we were offered a resort room this did not provide the ocean view, quiet or privacy we required and had been very specific about when booking.
The mould in the air conditioning system us a public health hazard. I have taken photos. The mould us so bad we lived on a diet of anti-histamine.
Having a smoking area below rooms is unacceptable: as a public heLth specialist this also contravenes regulations. It also meant the balcony of the first room we were assigned was unusable.
The rooms are old and decrepit, the beds uncomfortable - the hotel desperately needs a refurbishment and clean. Simple maintanance would help, cupboard doors stick and the balcony roof (in our second room) had a large unsightly hole.
