I went into this er yesterday for severe pain, with bleeding. I am highly allergic to opioids. This is well known, and all over my charts. Also opioids are highly deadly when mixed with a medication I take daily. I have never had a band on my arm except the white triage band. This time they put a red band on me. I researched this, and during times of crisis like covid they color tag people. Red means will die without immediate care, but has a high chance of survival. When I asked what pain medication they were about to put into my vein. They said fentynal. I refused this medication because it will kill me. They fought me on the issue, trying to pressure me to take it. They told me fentynal was my only option. I pulled out my iv, and said I do not want anything at all. They KNOW I am allergic. This hospital is absolutely horrible, unclean, and the employees do not care unless you are rich, or otherwise important.
