I hate to be "that guy", but after plenty of trips to this GC I have to say something. This primarily concerns the Drum Department.

This location had some of the most pretentious, rude sales people in the history of customer service. Ever single solitary time I have walked into the drum section I have either been ignored, treated with a retarded amount of rudeness or (on many occasions) there just isn't anyone there at all. In which case I have to walk around the entire store trying to find someone that has the cognitive ability to ring me up. The worst thing about this entire situation is the fact that this is a specialty shop. It's not a Walmart where they sell everything under the sun so it's impossible to make a connection. This is a shop supposedly run By and FOR musicians. We should all have things in common, thus be able to make much stronger and positive connections than a regular run of the mill shop. But no.

This is how my last experience ended:
Me after being rung up, word for word: "Awesome, thanks alot. Have a good one man."
Drum guy: complete silence staring at the computer screen with his head in his hand, elbow propped on the table.
I walk away.
The end.
Thanks, Guitar Center.
