On 8/18 I left my car to the valet overnight until 8/19. I left my new car I had just bought literally not even 2 months ago with a lady and even joked about keeping my car safe. Later after a fun wedding night for my friend I got my car by a nice gentleman, and in the haze of trying to get the car packed and get out for another appointment I didn't not check my car. It was my mistake. It appears as though someone scratched their keys across my car as they got in or out. First let me say I would rather at least be told of when a incident like this happens so I can call my insurance as quick as possible to get the car fixed, second if the company stance is to leave it unnoticed until it's called upon it's disheartening because the hotel staff in the hotel was phenomenal, but for good sakes are you joking with me? If the staff aren't trained to handle this please do, if the staff are reckless please remind them they are handling cars, especially mine, that cost over 30,000 if not more sometimes. The fact that I only stayed for a hot second just baffles me and that everyone seemed cheery yet I had to see this in the middle of my day and now I'm stumbling to get my insurance on the phone on a Sunday. I just can't believe that, other then the staff being so welcoming and fun, everything from the scratchy towels to the dehydrating shampoos and conditioners (which to be fair I don't normally use, but I had this event last minute planned) and the fact that half of the outlets in the room didn't work just adds insult to ingury. I could have overlooked most everything as I'm not that picky but having my new baby for lack of better words abused in some way doesn't sit well with me or the deductible I have coming to fix it. Honestly maybe someone else will have better luck, give it a shot. But just be warry of the valet.
