We did a guided tour which was a bit hectic. We couldn't take a break to eat, and the guides seemed like they needed to know where you were at all times. I would recommend doing it at your own pace. The prime rib buffet dinner was an excellent break from standard buffet fare. We also stayed to see the Breath of Life show. It was more of an interesting story than luau, but the fire knife show was spectacular!
