Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation helped over ...

Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation helped over 17,000 children and their families dealing with a cancer diagnosis in 2016. The Bear-Able Gifts Program shipped 49,629 toys to hospitals and cancer treatment facilities so each child receiving treatment for their cancer diagnosis had something to occupy them while they were in the hospital. The HELPING HANDS FUND assists families with rent and utility payments during the difficult time when their child is receiving life-saving treatments. Normal bills have to be pushed aside to pay high co-pays and prescriptions. CCRF assists families with payments made directly to the utility companies and/or Landlord. The CAMP SCHOLARSHIP program is an exciting and needed program. A child who has been through the cancer journey and received the "cancer free" diagnosis it's time they got back so much of the time they lost while in treatments and recovering. The CAMP SCHOLARSHIP programs sends children to a camp of THEIR CHOICE. CCRF always assists with financial support to 4 camps located in Texas, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania.
