Overall very satisfied with our stay (first with a very young baby).

The location is excellent if you want to be close to the center : you are right next to it. Being straight in front of the central station is also perfect if you come by train.

We got a room with a view which was super nice... given that it was straight on the canal and central station.

The personnel was super helpful and friendly.

The parking just in front is super practical and distinctive in Amsterdam.

Overall the level of service and quality is clearly five stars but the location is suffering from its age : the rooms have apparently been renovated and are overall up to par. However you can see the effect of time on other aspects such as the common areas, the quality of the ac (eg there was a small smell of fried potatoes coming out of it), the outdated windows (cold is kept out thanks to an added internal plexiglas cover which on top of feeling a bit cheap means that there is often a lot of humidity on the window).

That being said those small drawbacks were more than compensated by the rest and the lower price point for the city. Would come back (especially if I have a kid).
