Amy Hanrahan Review of IATA

I'm currently on a return flight from HAV, Havana, Cuba to JFK, New York, NY aboard JetBlue. My flight to Havana was both on time and pleasant, but this return flight is something else entirely. The plane both arrived late and took off late, the staff at the airport was not communicating any of the numerous gate changes or apologizing for any of the delays that were never told to us passengers. Once aboard the plane the situation was chaotic, people didn't know where they were sitting and throughout the entire process the staff was rude. The pilot made numerous announcements about listening to the crewmen's instructions, "or this [would] not be a good flight to New York." One such instruction included the threat of, "if you are unable to listen to the crew, I'm sure you will not enjoy spending another night in Cuba." So now at this point, we have not been apologized to for the numerous delays or lack of information, but we are being threatened. Great job JetBlue! Maybe the staff on flight 242 and/or in the HAV airport just wasn't the best representation of your airline, but I'm sorry any of us had to endure them.
