San Jose airport is certainly one of my favorites, especially since they reopened the second terminal a couple years back. Flying SouthWest or Alaska is probably the easiest of the bunch and what I usually do, other airlines are less convenient. Only problem I have is the parking prices went up to meet with the larger airports' (i.e. SFO) standards, so if you are going to use long term parking, you're better off going for the out-of-airport parking lot on De La Cruz, for $8 a day with a free shuttle direct to the terminal you can't go wrong.
