I am shocked by the individual who wrote these ridiculous claims about Lisa Fosco.I was an intern of Lisa s many years ago, after which I stayed on to volunteer under her direction. She did so much more than nurture my love and curiosity of animals and the natural world. She taught me that truly loving wildlife is a selfless and courageous act. She did that by example.

My career is not in wildlife although because of her I am still volunteering with wild animals when I can. My charitable donation funds go to whatever organization she is leading. Last year I gave Toronto Wildlife Center a $1500 donation. I know nothing about the organization except that they were smart enough to hire her so they ve got my support.

Lisa s dedication, passion and encouragement has brightened the lives of hundreds of interns, volunteers and staff over the years. I would participate in any program she was leading. The interns, volunteers and staff at Toronto Wildlife center are lucky to have her. Besides overseeing the wild patients and the people who care for them, Lisa is known for her many years training wildlife people around the world. I have never attended a national level wildlife conference that did not have Lisa as a
highly respected speaker and instructor.

I feel sorry for the person who is unable to appreciate how lucky they are to work with Lisa. She has never misled anyone about the time or dedication it takes to work in wildlife. She is authentic, caring and a true role model.
