The new pasture decided that it was the right thing to do to take away the food program for the needy. Pretty sure this is one of the most un-christ like things any "christian" could ever do. Good job buddy. Bring people to christ by turning away the poor. So very "christian" of you. Don't ye forget that a rich man would have an easier time threading himself through they eye of a needle than buying his way into heaven.

Why do you close your heart to us?

"Whoever oppresses a poor man insults his Maker, but he who is generous to the needy honors him."
Proverbs 14:31
What you have done is oppression.

You disobey a direct command

"In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. "
Acts 20:35
And yet you chose to instead turn away the weak.

"Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy."
Ezekiel 16:49
You choose to remove aid for the poor, instead of support the initiative. Why do you refuse them of this help?

"Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered."

Why have you closed your ears?
