I purchased a Volvo XC90 from Don Beyer Dulles in Feb 2021. I truly cannot say enough about the process, the people and the product. I had driven Acuras for the past 13 years - an Acura TL sedan for 10 years and then leased an Acura MDX for 3 years. When it was time to turn in my Acura, I figured I'd just get a new one. So I drove the latest model but, I didn't love it. The ride, etc just didn't do it for me. It seemed they were more interested in creature features than the actual ride and performance. I also drove several new Lexus and Cadillac suvs. No go. I had never driven a Volvo but just decided to check out Don Beyer in Dulles. Game changer. First, the dealership is hands down the best ever. The environment and the people make you feel welcome without overdoing it. We met Joe, our sales advisor. His friendly but low-key manner and knowledge of the vehicle were the perfect combination. Plus, if you like Pepperidge Farm cookies, he'll hook you up:) Then we met Anthony, the general sales manager. He makes it a priority to meet every customer and offer assistance in any way. Never having owned a Volvo, and being quite the researcher, I asked a ton of questions. Anthony patiently answered them all and provided options for me to consider. Between the two of them, they made the process a dream. I had a particular request for a light exterior and interior and Anthony actually went to Virginia Beach to get the vehicle I wanted. We now have two new friends in Anthony and Joe. To top it all off, my Volvo XC90 is the best car I've ever owned. The way it drives, handles, safety features, comfort... it more than checks the boxes. Living in Western Loudoun, on a dirt road, I also like how it sits higher than most in the same class. When it does snow, that is important to us. Even our previous Suburban was lower to the ground with the bumper they put on the front. When my lease is up on this vehicle, I will be returning to Don Beyer in Dulles for my next Volvo (and I'll probably buy that one and keep it for a long time!).
