Initially I was going to rate Mug & Anchor with only three stars, but since the staff is so wonderful and the view from the back deck is spectacular, I decided to go with four. If you are in Mahone Bay looking for a quick bite, this place is fine. And the food is just that fine. However, there are better options, especially in Lunenburg. If you don t mind a quick drive down the road, check out Beach Pea, Salt Shaker, Half Shell, or any of the many places in the historic district.
