(See below for best place to stay) The staff at the front desk was great. The room was tiny and standard on the 23rd floor where the membership rooms are reserved. We were on a high floor so the view was great facing south. We were surprised to find after the first day, where we walked into the lobby with free water and candies, that this is not a standard service, as it was only there for a convention. Therefore, there was never water or snack service in the lobby after the fact, even during hot days (all three other hotels we stayed at in the Phoenix area had water service throughout the day). We were lucky that the front desk people gave us a discount on parking at $20 a day as we did not expect a parking fee, and a discount on the Wi-Fi rate at $10 a day as this, too, was unexpected. The Wi-Fi connection was horrible and we could not stream movies on Netflix. There is no free continental breakfast. The restaurant is not great, definitely overpriced and does not carry a good kids menu. The hot tub was broken and the pool was cool, therefore, most people did not swim. The location is great. One of the staff members in the gift shop was very rude to our daughter, yet the rest were kind. Down the street is a Holiday Inn & Suites, literally 2 blocks away, with much larger and nicer rooms (truly large and luxury suites in comparison), free parking, free Wi-Fi, free continental breakfast, perfect downtown location, fabulous staff and a much more user-friendly pool and hot tub! The whole area is surrounded by by restaurants, so that is never an issue, as you probably wouldn't eat at the Sheraton anyways (not after the first time) even if you were staying at their location.
