This place absolutely sucks. I don't know why the Chinese embassy in Hong Kong chose such an unreliable place to process their visas. The service is absolutely terrible and they do not have a system of organizing people who are waiting for their visa submissions or pick ups. I'd suggest going to another center in another city to get your visa done, especially if you want to work in China. This is also the only visa center, out of the many I have been to in the US, that charges upfront instead of at the time of pick up. Their rules and regulations is also posted nowhere on the wall, and the whole place just seems pretty shady and unreliable.
