After doing 5 shifts with RIG 4 weeks ago I have finally received what was owed to me today. Allegedly there has been a change of payroll provider but I question this.
I must have made over 50 requests either verbally on the phone or by WhatsApp (their choice) or email to be paid but it was excuse after excuse.
I made calls to two directors of the company when I was getting nowhere with frontline staff who assured me they would sort it but they didn t and one of them didn t return his promised call or respond to my email.
Many times I was promised by various levels of staff that they would ring me back within a specified time and they didn t so I was chasing them constantly.
I left an answerphone message on Affi Khan the CEOs mobile telephone and never did hear back from him.
All in all it was a terrible experience and has put me off working for an agency completely.
I certainly wouldn t recommend working for RIG.
