Utter disappointment: once a delectable, fascinating location in Soho, Yauatcha recently treated my guest and I terribly. On arrival, ushered into the bar area and isolated like a pair of old socks, thrown a drinks menu versus tea and food, and then were successfully ignored for 30 minutes. What has happened? For so many years I enjoyed every aspect of Yauatcha, and now I sense it is turning the corner into an old, unemployed actor from the 50s that no-one cares for and who's jokes land like an ice-cream in an oven.
