EXTREMELY NEGATIVE experience: I STRONGLY ADVISE THE STRUCTURE TO ALL PATIENTS.
This morning my father had an appointment for a colonoscopy booked about 5 months ago. I state that about fifteen days ago I had contacted the clinic to ask for confirmation of the appointment, and I had been told (with some rudeness) that I had called unnecessarily because in case of changes it would have been their care to notify us. As expected, my father started preparing for the exam (diet, withdrawals and laxatives for 5 days) and had taken 2 days off work. To our utmost surprise and indignation, when we contacted the facility yesterday to ask for an explanation of the examination, we were answered by an operator, all too rude and shameless, who had been canceled because the machine had broken. , and that they had called us on the 19th to inform us, but having received no reply, the name had been automatically crossed out. Calling back later to ask for a possible other date for the exam, an operator even more rude than the first (if possible), told us, denying her colleague, that they had no cell phone number to contact us. Too bad that the colleague of the previous one had also dictated our telephone number (to verify that it was right) to which she swore that she had called. It seems clear that the clinic and above all its operators lack seriousness, professionalism, education and respect for patients. Can one be so superficial and incorrect towards a patient who has to carry out such an important examination? And yet if the machine was really broken (as they say), would it not have been appropriate and necessary to call (if they did it even once) the unfortunate patient who was at home and had started the preparation therapy? We really feel teased .. the first operator who says she called, the second one who contradicts her colleague, the broken machine, many months of waiting .. seems to be a joke about our medical malpractice! What a shame!
