We took 13 girl scouts to the zoo. Every employee we came across was helpful and patient with the girls. The zoo itself was clean. Gretchen explained to us how the zoos all over are changing and it's a great thing. I love their focus is more on preservation of a species and education instead of for show and exploitation. With the recent upgrades and changes, this zoo has best interest of its animals in mind.
