We are still here, and I wanted to provide feedback while everything is fresh.

The best thing about this resort is it s proximity to the local action.

Our stay is 6 days, and we flew into Miami and rented a car at a total cost (including parking) of almost $800 and mostly stayed in the garage. Upon arriving, the valet said it was $25/day for valet service, but they don t tell you that self-parking is $20/day. If we knew this beforehand, would have considered alternative transportation like Uber which cost $350 each way (I checked). Just something to think about.

See pic. We paid almost $500 ($100 extra per day) for an Oceanview room, but for the last 5 days we have had to look at a huge cruise ship all day long. They arrive before dawn and leave before sunset, so you do get to see sunsets. Again, just something to think about.

Speaking of cruise ships, they unload a huge amount of tourists everyday, so your experience getting tables at local restaurants and activities WILL be affected. There is no way to check cruise schedules. Ships from Carnival, Celebrity, etc. showed up.

There are hundreds of rooms that were sold out, but in comparison, the pool is too tiny to accommodate so many guests. Your experience may depend on your luck and timing.

Yes there is a beach, but for a 1000+ guests, they only have 20-25 passes to the beach ($20/person/day). And it s first come first serve (That s mentioned on the website, but it doesn t say how few passes there are). So you need to get in line early before the 8am Concierge Desk opens or you ll be out of luck. This was our biggest disappointment. To top it off, the beach was very rocky, and it was painful to get in and out of the water.

Your public beach alternatives are close by, again, good location is the best thing about this resort.

They only change linens if you leave the card on the bed, but ours didn t, and I had to ask for it to be done. One day, they were too busy and a guy came upon request at 6pm and did the minimum. So if a good cleaning is important to you, this was our experience. Others have had better.

Room was fine. Bathroom was very small and basic.

Finally, only thing you get with your rooms is coffee/OJ in the lobby and in your room. Everything else has a cost. But I think that s more a function of this being a tourist hot spot.

Staff is nice and helpful.

We still had (and are having) fun. I m only sharing what we would have preferred to know earlier, but can t rrrreally tell from the website etc.
