My car was totaled in an accident. My insurance company asked for payoff. I got tired of waiting to hear from Santander that it had been paid off and called to find out that Santander was slow to respond and sent an incorrect LOG losing 19 days. Santander just sent a corrected LOG. Now I am going to have a late fee and late payment reflected on my credit. All I got when I phoned was a lecture that I should have paid the payment to avoid a late fee and 30 day late notation. Thanks so much for your humanity!?
