I sent a gift basket to a grieving mother, my best friend for loss of her child. Basket was delivered to wrong house. Person contacted Capabalo's and told them and that it was left in rain and damaged. It managed to make it to my friend eventually. I called to see what they were going to do and was told my grieving friend would have to call and make the complaint. Mind you , I paid for it, they contacted me that it was reported damaged by the party who received it by mistake. The last thing my poor friend has on her mind is calling personally about a sympathy basket. Wow, really? The woman I spoke to was very nice but was adamant that was the policy. They need a new policy because that is just poor customer service. I should have been offered a partial credit or an apology basket should have been sent.
