Visited this place for a marriage ceremony. Stayed for 2 nights and 3 days in this lovely resort and had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
The staff at this resort are all genuinely friendly, polite and helpful and there was a relaxing atmosphere in the entire resort area, even when upgradation was in progress.
I would class this resort as well run with as many facilities as any 5 Star resorts we have been to. The entire resort was exceptionally well run. Our rooms were cleaned every day, more if requested, and linen and towels also changed each day with complementary towel decoration and flowers placed out on your room table each morning.The rooms are large, modern and in perfect order. The lights and air conditioning were all in perfect order unlike some resorts we have previously stayed at. The bathrooms were again excellent and had a separate bath and large shower.
Our room balcony overlooked the beautiful gardens watching the sun set most evenings, This was a picture perfect view.The staff were faultless, friendly and provided a very professional service. This was from the bar service to front lobby. There was a genuine will to please. The resort is set on the varca coast and it is set on a private beach this can only be accessed through the resort and the resort staff regularly clean and sweep the beach sand.
The pool is large with a separate children s pool attached and then a further small infants paddling pool. There are sun lounger s all around the pool so it will never be a difficulty keeping to keep an eye on the children.
The resort had a number of restaurants. At breakfast there was a good choice of food.
Dinner time In the evening was magical, with Joseph and Marcelino taking care of all guests and the theme evenings were all run excellently with waiter drinks service and live entertainment ranging from authentic Indian as well as western music. There was also an excellent room service that ran 24 hrs a day. In general I would class the quality of the food at Caravela as excellent. The food is all fresh with a huge selection of; poultry, mutton, sea foods and vegetables to choose from. The drinks were all international brand and ice cold. we did not have a single bad meal or dish. The resort also had a good air-conditioned gym with fitness instructor, hair salons etc.
