First of all, thank you to Chef Clayton for the wonderful food that my friends and I were able to enjoy. His food is creative and takes an amazing twist on southern classics. My friends introduced us the other night and we'll happily dine at the Lucky Rooster regularly.

Onto the food; I enjoyed the special which was a whole flounder seasoned and cooked to perfection. The fish was flakey and delicious and, if you're like me, I ate the crispy seasoned skin which really complimented the meal. I would highly recommend it and the bevy of sides offered. We had the opportunity, thanks to the Chef, to try just about every side on the menu and we were not disappointed. I could write a novel on the flavors, textures, and overall deliciousness of each, but take my word that you need to try them all.

And a quick shout out to the waiter; The service was fantastic. He was attentive, personable, and quick with good suggestions. My wife and I always say that a good restaurant experience is, in part, due to good service.

I've only been to the Lucky Rooster once, but I will surely be back again, and again, and again.
