I got a pink bag on my mailbox (which is illegal use, since they are not mailmen) asking for items to donate to shelters. Normally, I would wholeheartedly support this cause, and I was ready to donate. However, at the advice of someone else, I did my research. This company has a history of lying about who they associate with, and breaking the law (see above), and I believe I will take my belongings to a place where I know they will reach the people that this company has promised. With a simple Google search, I found articles like
"Police warn about group seeking clothing donations"
"Attorney General looks into complaints about charity Nspire Outreach"
One article, "Charity Report - NSPIRE Outreach" in particular says " A civil penalty of $45,000 has been imposed against NSPIRE Outreach, a Georgia-based organization also known as Hope House or Hope for Domestic Violence, for soliciting contributions using false or misleading practices.

Specifically, the group has falsely represented that it works with other organizations with which it has no affiliation. Additionally, numerous individuals have filed complaints with the Division of Charitable Solicitations and Gaming because they continued to receive calls requesting donations even after requesting to be removed from the group's call list.

COMPLAINTS

Number of complaints processed by the BBB in the last 36 months: 15 "

I'm sorry, but I will not support a company like this in any way, and I hope others do their research as well.
