Tarheel Basements did an excellent job of mapping out all my options for how to get rid of ground water seeping into my below-grade basement. Drew Nicol spent more than two hours investigating the house to eliminate other sources of the water, drawing a map to scale of my basement, and explaining the finer points of the proposed solution: an indoor drain with flush ports and pump plus a barrier material between the cinderblocks and drywall. The installation crew of Robert, Nathan, and Dale arrived on time and completed the installation in the scheduled two day timeframe. They did a great job of removing all the debris and leaving the house in great condition. When we discovered that the below grade walls were wet higher up than originally thought, I made a change to increase the height of the barrier material. This resulted in more work, so Tarheel Basement sent in another crew on the second day to ensure that the work was completed on time. I would highly recommend Tarheel Basements to anyone needing to waterproof a below grade basement. From the people who answer the phones, to the project manager (Drew), to the installation crew - ALL of them have excellent customer service skills.
