My husband and I started working with Gamewell Mechanical on jan 11th and on our second day we were at our morning meeting to do stretching exercises before work and Michael Bracht screamed and cursed everyone. I told Sam the superintendent that I didn't appreciate being talked to like that. He said he would tell Michael Bracht. We have to wear masks due to covid and that's fine but the mask makes your glasses fog badly and when you're working with power tools that can be dangerous. On Friday the Feb 5th my husband took his glasses off to defog which he was told was fine to do by Jeff the satey man. Michael Bracht stood across the room and screamed to my husband to put your glasses on and you better not take them off again. My husband called the Wilson office and told them what was said. After lunch Sam came and told my husband that Michael wants to write him up. My husband would not sign the write up paper because he had not done anything wrong. About 20 min. Later Michael Bracht ,Sam and another man came and and Michael Bracht terminated us. I think this termination is retaliation for me speaking up about his rude and unprofessional behavior. I think Gamewell wouldn't be too bad if they had respectful and professional supervision.
