If I could give 0 stars, I would. Long story short, I removed my child from her previous school due to bullying and have been trying since October, yes October, to get her back I to another school. I've filled out open enrollment paperwork twice and have heard nothing. After we were finally denied after literal weeks of waiting, we composed an appeal and sent it in.....been another 2 weeks now and we still haven't heard anything. According to the Idaho Department of Eduacation it is up to the parents, not the district or school, to provide an education for their children. I also happen to pay local and state taxes which in turn funds public schools and pays the salaries of the people in it. I can not believe a school district of all things would be ok with screwing kids out of an education, to which all of our children are entitled to. I never, ever thought I would write something like this, but this district is a joke. The staff will literally stay in their office and talk to you through the receptionists phone rather than meeting face to face. Nampa school district needs reformation in terms of regulation and staffing, they're lacking either way. We're considering some sort of litigation as my child has missed pretty much her first semester and for all of the garbage we've been put through. I hope being lazy and uncaring was worth it.
