Having fibromyalgia all my life (it's an inherited disease), now that I'm almost 70 years old, my muscles are beginning to lose their strength and tone. Therefore, it is more difficult to hold an adjustment now than when I had the strong muscles of youth. The fact is, I would most likely be disabled at this point if I had not had regular adjustments to keep my spine aligned to offset the damage being done by fibro as I age. With the help of Dr. Baker for quite a few years and Dr. Shreve who recently joined the practice, I can still take care of myself at home which is a blessing. Also, the office staff at Upper Cervical is top notch! I am a very demanding patient and they never fail to treat me with professional courtesy and urgency when I need immediate care. Their No. 1 concern is that I, as a patient, leave their office feeling and functioning better than when I walked in the door. Without my health, I would not be able to enjoy helping with my first grandbaby--which is priceless. Thank you, UCC of Spartanburg!!
