I was at Oneida from 1998-2002, I do remember the suicide and riot in the boys dorm. I don't remember a stabbing though. Fire alarms were often pulled in the girls dorm as a prank or because one or two girls were running late, typical immature high school actions. Oneida was a great school! The houseparents and teachers cared about us and still do. I am friends with many of them on social media outlets. The smaller class sizes provide more one on one time for students and teachers. No matter your religious background Oneida can be a place for anyone, but not everyone. This is a special place that I hold dear in my heart. Education for Time and Eternity.
