I came in with the symptoms of diabetes, they sent me to fast track, the nurse and nurse practitioner were SO disrespectful to me, my mom recently lost her job and insurance; being a 21 year old and a single mother of a two year old I had no options. The nurse looked me in my face and said You shouldn't be here, And you don't have diabetes and "I guess we can give you a blood test" was her exact words.
As the lower positioned nurse drew my blood, she put the small cluster of gauze over the needle that was still in my hand and pressed down, waited a few seconds then pulled the needle out (I've always had the needle pulled out first)
After my blood test reading was normal, they didn't ask me any other questions or try to help me find out why I'm dizzy / tired 24/7 they truly didn't care about me and I hope Mrs. Natalie Kmetuk finds herself a new job!
