I checked in late at night, and appreciated both the security presence and the warm welcome from the front desk, especially Hannah. Housekeeping and maintenance respond quickly and efficiently to calls as well. This property has multiple towers, and is the largest Courtyard Marriott anywhere. It is well located downtown, in an area that is not too hectic. It is steps from College subway station, the Village, and in walking distance from many shops and restaurants, some of which are open 24 hours. Como En La Casa Mexican restaurant was my favorite.
The hotel lobby has been beautifully renovated, and includes ample seating as well as a fireplace. Some areas of the hotel appear to need some refreshing, but with a hotel this size, it s understandable that that could take time. Parking is $45 valet, which is typical for a downtown Toronto hotel. Would recommend, would stay again.
