This iconic place has been here for as long as I can remember. They continue to upgrade the facility and overall definitely one of the best out in Montauk. That's the good news. I continue to believe that this place could be so much more and truly a world-class stop... But they just don't pay attention to the details. Is an example for as long as I can remember something's always been broken the spa from this particular trip it was the Roman baths. But in general they just don't invest very much in that compared to other places that I've been around the globe... Scandinavian Lodge in Whistler Canada as an example but you'll pay as much if not more to come here. The staff is definitely hit or miss for example the valet really upbeat happy and great greeting... Pass that things start to go downhill... Not rude just not what you'd expect at a four or five-star kind of resort. the potential of this place as I said is amazing one day I hope somebody buys it drops some millions of dollars in it and really upgrades this to the world-class location should be.
