Shout out to Hitachi Australia.
I bought a fridge from Bing Lee 18 months ago.
I chose Hitachi for the 5 year warranty.
Over 18 months some of the external coating wore off ( 5cm long) near door handle. Then 2 tiny rust spots were visible.
I emailed Hitachi customer service.
Within 30 minutes I got a response with some questions.
Then they called and said we ll deliver a new Fridge in 2 days and they did.
