I had to contact Central Hudson 3 separate times to set up an account. I called ahead before our home closing date to make sure that the account was transferred over properly. I didn't receive any emails or physical mail confirming the account was set up. Within 2 weeks time, someone from Central Hudson came out to the house to shut off our power line stating that the account under our address was never transferred. I called Central Hudson again and re-validated setting up an account under our name. It's now been almost 2 months of not receiving any account info. I am now placed on a 4 hour wait for a call back. Central Hudson needs to get it together.

If anyone knows of a DIFFERENT gas and electric service provider in the Newburgh area, please let me know! Would like to explore other options.

Update 7 hours later: Still haven't heard from Central Hudson. No call back. Nothing. Will contact again tomorrow. Seriously, the worst customer service experience ever as there is lack there of.
