I went there at 5 pm on New Year's Eve -- very busy -- and had the best grocery shopping experience ever. I was worried about maneuvering the big shopping cart among the people, but the customers were polite, so we slid by one another gracefully. The produce man was gracious in checking on the price of nuts in the shell (a mountain of fancy mixed nuts for under $3/lb). I've had trouble finding Oroweat Honey Wheat Berry bread, having tried 5 other supermarkets in the past 10 days. Vicente had at least 6 loaves on the shelf. When I asked the grocery man for Hellman's mayonnaise, he told me with a kind attitude that it is labeled as Best Foods in the Western U.S. and is the identical product. At checkout, when the twisty came off my big bag of nuts, the checker twisted it back on. Both she and the bagger were friendly and attentive. I kind of floated out of the store, and will come back.
