My husband and I reside in the Dallas area. We sought out Mr. Jewell Marsh around Halloween 2020. He was super friendly and informative. We scheduled a free consultation call with him the next day. We never received a phone call so we reached out to him. He apologized, as he had double booked and forgot to reach out to us. Okay, not a problem. We had our consultation shortly after and we were instructed to submit an application utilizing the app. We then heard back from Jewell in a timely manner, requiring the necessary documentation to be uploaded. Perfect! A week later, we had a financial review meeting (virtually), where we co-drafted a timeline, discussed our vision and goals, what we can afford, etc. Everything was going so well. AND THEN WE NEVER HEARD FROM JEWELL AGAIN. We reached out approximately 3 weeks later, he apologized and then requested more documentation from us, which we uploaded the same day of his request. AGAIN, WE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK. We emailed to inquire the status of our application. Jewell said he d look into it, but of course he didn t. This unfortunately lasted almost two months before we finally gave up.

As first time home buyers, we felt defeated and discouraged to try out any other companies, given such a poor experience. We wound up renting. Not only have we just provided confidential documents, Jewell never took the time or care to update us about anything. Maybe he didn t want our business? Of course I cannot speak for the entire company, but if you re in the Dallas region looking to purchase, avoid Jewell Marsh at all costs.
