I am the lead technician at Dr Networking and I spoke with Cody in support on October 8th at 9:07 am. Our customer's router was setup with PPPOE settings, I assumed that these were wrong but wanted to verify it was supposed to be automatic before deleting her settings. I called Infostructure and I asked if her router was supposed to be set as automatic or PPPOE, expecting a 1 minute phone call. But instead of telling me it should be automatic he told me that he couldn't give the PPPOE settings for "security reasons" even though the customer was with me. After attempting to clarify my question again Cody became hostile and was incredibly rude. I asked him why he was being so hostile to me and he told me that he's already told me 3 times to restart or reset my router and if that didn't fix it it's not their equipment. This did not answer my question, as I was asking for settings. After just trying automatic, it fixed the issue. Again, this should have been a less than 5 minute call but instead it escalated completely unnecessarily. The reason I recommended Infostructure in the past is because their customer service was the best. If this is the customer support I can expect from now on my company will no longer be recommending Infostructure's services.
