My wife bought tickets for the luau here. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was great. We got ambassador tickets, so I believe we got a slightly better experience than the regular tickets.

The food was nice, and there was plenty of it, and plenty of time to fill up. We paid an extra $10 to get a pina colada flavored drink in a pineapple, which was tasty. The leis you get are pretty cool, too.

The show during the food was entertaining. There is some crowd participation for those celebrating a special occasion (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries).

After the luau we watched the Ha, Breath Of Life show. It was very impressive and immersive. We have an 8-month-old child, and we're concerned that he would be scared, but he enjoyed it a lot, up to the point where he was too tired.

Our tickets allowed us to go back in and see the villages over the following three days, so we did. They were pretty cool just to look at. There are also timed shows that are really good. We only watched the Samoan one properly, but it was great. Sadly, Kap (from the YouTube videos) was not there.

The whole experience was enjoyable, entertaining, educational, and unique. I feel like I could still go back and watch more of the village shows, and repeat the luau experience.
