Liked it here. The dining room strikes a nice balance between traditional and modern. It feels luxurious but not stuffy. Staff are warm and sociable in a way you don t usually get in high-end restaurants. We went for the pre-theatre menu it was good, but not outstanding. Starter of ravioli were delicious: incredibly fine pasta and rich, mellow cheese. The main course of venison was well cooked but lacking a bit of excitement. Dessert of milk and honey textures was slightly bland, for all the skill and processes involved.
