This is an amazing hospital. I'm from San Diego, visiting my family who lives in Palos Verde. I developed pain in my right stomach area and went to Torrance Memorial Hospital ER, I was diagnosed with appendicitis and needed surgery immediately. I checked in at 8:20 am and was in my hospital room by 5:00 pm, the staff in the OR we're amazing and all women - girl power!!! The hospital staff are very professional, kind and attentive to their tasks. The hospital appear to be cleaned for health, appearance, safety and well maintained. All COVID-19 protocols are in place and managed appropriately. The written discharge instructions are concise and very helpful. I'm grateful to Dr. Catherine Madorin, who did a fantastic job a on removing my appendix.
