From the moment my partner, Kris, and I stepped foot on Marigot Bay, we instantly felt good vibes and knew the welcoming, friendly and accommodating staff would set the tone for an amazing next 5 days. A week prior to our arrival, our personal assistant through the resort called to ensure reservations were correct, asked if we were celebrating anything (Kris birthday) and provided an activities list and directions from the airport. The call really got Kris and I excited for the trip. Upon arrival to the airport, the resort had a booth setup where we were greeted with a cold towel to refresh and to get a head start on the check-in process. Kris and I had a car and the drive from the airport to Marigot Bay took around an hour. Valet service and a welcome drink were provided once we arrived at the resort.

The room itself was immaculate and overlooked the bay. We especially liked the plantain chips, mango salsa and Pitons that were delivered to the room daily. Turndown service was also great, with more snacks and drinks delivered. Of note, the rooms are air-conditioned, but on cooler mornings and evenings, we opened the double doors to give the room a very open feeling. Beyond the room, the grounds of the resort are in excellent condition and well maintained by the friendly grounds crew. We frequented the larger pool with the swim-up bar and fresh coconut water, and smaller infinity pool close to the yachts. We also had massages in the spa. Highly recommend.

The menus and chefs did not disappoint either. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at The Grill and various meals at Hurricane Hole. The first night, Kris and I were greeted by a table filled with flowers and confetti for his birthday from Jenna at The Grill. The personal sized custom birthday cake was delicious too. Our last night, Jenna went above and beyond and set us up outside of The Grill with yet another delicious meal with candles and balloons. Each and every moment we continued to feel more and more like kings. Our personal assistant, Trisha, was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and above all else, genuine. Trisha made us feel so special and showed us an authentic St. Lucian experience. Based solely on Trisha alone, Kris and I would return to Marigot Bay Resort.

Marigot Bay has a number of good restaurants close by which are accessible via a free water taxi. The small beach is also accessible via the same water taxi. Towels and chairs are provided as part of the hotel.

One suggestion for improvement is to develop a more robust breakfast menu, especially for the continental breakfast. Beyond this, every thought of Marigot Bay and the staff evokes positive memories and emotions.
