I had the horrible misfortune of renting a space for Basel House 2019, what a HUGE mistake, especially because these people do a few events in the area so they do not care what they do as new unsuspecting vendors eagerly rent from them and loose their time and money.

This was the worst company to work with as a vendor and the bartenders steal money from your credit card charges if you are a guest. they did both to me. They have no clue about floor planing and vendor relations nor how to design a smart and productive traffic flow for the event in general.. The management is the least prepared and professional people you will ever meet. Also, and the hugest FALSE ADVERTISING they promoted over and over again a traffic volume of 100,000 people, there where barely 100-200 per day{they where in Miami outside of the event, unfortunately they did not know how to get the into their advertised event.

I have written to them with my concerns and a large list of mistakes they made which lead to terrible placement after I paid extra to have good placement, they did not have good security in place and I got ROBBED, the event coordinators where immature, sarcastic and completely inept to interact with adults. They where condescending and its now not surprising as I wrote the email and addressed it to the CEO, management and owners and NO REPLY. I had no other option then to contact the Better Business Bureau to reported them.

Anyhow look at review the pictures below, as I should have researched ALL the NEGATIVE reviews instead of all the fluffy good ones from people going to concerts, but everyone that paid for anything seem to be very unhappy with this company along with myself. This has been going on for the past few years and they ALL address everything I experienced.

The site pictures are in the "premium" vendor area of the 3 days I was there till 2am and as you can see it was empty, all the people you see at booths are the vendors. Clearly not even close to 100 people and NOWHERE NEAR 100,000. on the second day 2 vendors left and on the third day a vendor with a two-space booth packed it up too. I just had some hope that it would at least pick up to a few hundred people to at least make my money back for paying extra to be in a "premium" spot placement booth.

Last video is the bartender that stole money from my card after he asked me if I wanted to tip on the card and I said NO I have cash for you and I proceeded to tip him $2 in cash I had in my hand .. the drink was $13, my card was charged $16.50 (if you times that by all the people he may have ripped off, he made loads of money on us all) after all he was saying that it was slow and that it has never been like this, well he certainly figured out his tips!!!!

I hope this stops anyone who reads this from dealing with this company and/or attending any future events by them. They also run Thrifter, Wynwood Market and anything that comes from Thrifter.
