excellent location, area of much commerce, easy access, excellent parking.
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions. This time I must give it only 2 stars because I had a more than unpleasant experience.
Saturday, October 19, 2019.
I arrived at the lobby request a suite for two nights, I asked the manager on duty (Mauricio Monroy- I hope that's his name) to confirm if the room had what was requested, after communicating with another request he confirmed that he had the room available for the 2 nights. We made the payment and went to the room. Having unpacked, we received a call from the manager (Mauricio M.), telling me that he had 2 news "one bad and one good, which one do you want me to give you first?" I asked him to please tell me what the problem was. He tells me: "the bad, that if I unpack he will have to repack and the good one, that I will give him an" upgrade "to the presidential suite because by mistake I gave him a room that has an entrance tomorrow" (Sunday, October 20). Out of kindness and given my fatigue, in addition to the fact that no one could hurt an upgrade (a real upgrade), I packed up again and went down to the lobby with everything and my luggage (which was not little, since I'm on a business trip) to receive my supposed key to the presidential suite. (from room 506 to 103) having experience staying in a presidential, it seemed strange to me that the presidential was on the 1st floor, overlooking a neighborhood and parking lot, also from the entrance the smell of humidity caused me a headache, I would have accepted the room if it was in the same condition as 506 BUT I sat on the couch for 10 - 15 minutes wondering what kind of UPGRADE this was, most of all I felt DOWNGRADED. It was an unpleasant experience. I decided to contact the manager who had offered me the presidential suite for his mistake when checking in. I told him about my discomfort because I felt confused (what was happening?) He gave me as a solution to send his partner to solve the problem of bad smell, the young man (Caleb) arrived with a powder for folders, when he entered he was surprised to find me I expressed my discomfort in this room and after a little review he told me that he would speak with the commissioner to let us in suite 506 (the first one they had given us) since the room is not in conditions to stay. The lobby manager's reaction added further disgust by wanting me to believe that room 103 was the presidential room. watching on the internet the presidential NOTHING TO SEE! I could add much more BUT it is best that management take note and investigate this case. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT FOR THE HOTEL CATEGORY AND PRICE!
