My son, Connor, has gone to this camp for four years. He always picked the two week traditional camp. Last year he did the LIT program which is leaders in training and this year at age 16 he is signed up for the 4 week CIT program which is the counselor in training program. Connor has met new friends from the first day of camp and they plan each year to come back together. His confidence and self esteem has grown considerably. Their mission is to teach caring, honesty, respect and responsibility toward others. This is taught to all. The counselors have been wonderful, you can call them anytime. They send out post cards to us mid way to let us know he is having a wonderful time. He learns something new each year. After the two weeks, when we pick Connor up he is so excited to tell us all about it. He loves the overnight camping in the woods, hiking, biking, swimming, canoeing, and playing football. The camp has had many renovations each year. Every summer when we go back we see all the projects that were done. Every year they have four open house dates that one can go visit , tour and ask questions about the camp. I can call the main office at any time if I have a question. I can also make payments monthly. It is so nice to send your child to a place that he will be happy and safe. It is awesome to know that he truly is outdoors and no electronics are allowed. No tablet no phone, no X-box yeah! He loves the outdoors. If your child loves to meet new friends, enjoys the outdoors and many activities this is the camp for you.
